VS Code / VS Codium have a setting which automatically selects a profile based on the folder opened.
From the menu select:
File > Preferences > Profile > Profiles
In the Profile dialog, select the profile you want.
Scroll down to the Folders and Workspaces and click the Add Folder button.
Add the relevant folder you want the profile to activate on when it’s opened.
When you open the folder in the editor it will switch to this profile automatically.
